Samaita Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy one roll of uniform material, 10 pairs of winter trousers, 20 sets of blankets and 20 pairs of shoes as stock to add to her business.

Samaita Group's story

Hazvinei is a 31-year-old devoted member of Samaita Group who operates as a tailor to earn a living. She is a married mother of five children, but three are still under her care. Hazvinei has been a resident of Mvurwi town for many years. Occasionally, she also stocks blankets and winter wear like jackets, jerseys, hats and scarves when the season is due. Residing at a farm, she is also actively involved in horticulture, mainly crops like green vegetables, tomatoes, onions and cabbages that grow quickly.

Samaita Group currently has five hard-working women, which has improved its cohesion. They have seen others making it and reaching the mark, and believe in themselves that they can do likewise. Limited by resources, they applied successfully for a second loan.

Hazvinei used her share to buy one roll of uniform material, 10 pairs of winter trousers, 20 sets of blankets and 20 pairs of shoes as stock to add to her business.
