Oulimata's Group's story
This group is composed of seven women. They live in a village where a strong social cohesion exists, which is why this group was born in January 2019. These women mainly farm vegetables for a living. Oulimata, who is standing on the far right of the picture with her hand raised, is the representative of the group. She is married, 48 years old and the mother of five children, including two boys. Her main business is to buy tomato seeds and fertilizer for her crops. After the harvest, she will sell the products to her loyal customers at the market. With the resulting profits, she will be able to pay her children's school fees, to support her family and also to save up some money with the goal to grow her business.
