Amy's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase food products to resell.

Amy's Group's story

This group of sixteen women, who come from the same village, are part of this Banc Villageois, set up in May 2002.
They share the same values of solidarity and mutual respect. They have a good understanding of loans.

The lady, Bernadette, 70 years old, is standing on the right of the photo with her hand raised. She is a widow and mother of five adult children, of which two are men.

Mrs. Bernadette runs a small business selling food products. She gets her products from the weekly markets and resells them in her village at home. She has been running her business for several years.

This new loan will enable her to purchase smoked fish, dried dish, niébé [black-eyed peas] and peanut oil, which she will resell at profitable prices. She carries out her business without any difficulties.

She plans to use her profits to renovate her house and purchase a refrigerator.
