Tomah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more chicken feet, pig feet, and other food items to sell.

Tomah's story

Meet 29-year-old Tomah from Liberia. She is living with her partner and has three children. All of her children live at home while attending school. She runs a retail business that sells chicken feet, pig feet, and other food items. She has been in this business for the past four years now and works 12 hours per day, six days a week. She has had no problem with her business.

Tomah requested this loan from BRAC to purchase more chicken feet, pig feet, and other food items to sell and increase her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help improve their standard of living. In the future, she wants to build a house and continue sending her children to school. She says thanks and gives appreciation to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support.
