Mercedes's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase costume jewelry, pants, shirts, t-shirts, natural medicine and shoes.

Mercedes's story

The primary income in the city of Calceta is from agriculture, livestock raising, sales, and making crafts from mocora straw, cotton, and a variety of egg- and dairy-based sweets.

Mercedes is 63 years old, married, and has an adult and independent child. Her spouse transports cargo in a vehicle. They live in their own house.

Mercedes works in informal sales from various catalogs of costume jewelry, shoes, clothing, and Nature's Garden products (natural, health, and beauty products). She sells these mostly on credit and collects weekly. She travels through various sectors for three to four hours from two to three times per week.

With this new loan, she will purchase costume jewelry, pants, shirts, t-shirts, natural medicine and shoes. Her dream is to have a retail space to continue with her sales and that her family is very healthy.
