Twisungane Gikore Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand her business of cultivating Irish potatoes, to sell to the community.

Twisungane Gikore Group's story

Marie Cecile is a 32-year-old mother of three children aged between 6 and 14 years. She is very committed to the well-being of her family. She takes care of five dependents at her home.

She cultivates Irish potatoes and sells them to the community. She has been in this business for the past five years and she has two employees to help her.

Lack of capital prevents Marie Cecile from reaching her sales targets. That is the reason she is requesting this loan, in order to expand her business cultivating Irish potatoes to sell them to the community This will increase sales and revenues as well. With the profits, she will be able to expand her business, pay school fees for her children, buy enough food for her children, etc. This loan is an agri-loan and Marie Cecile and other members will pay in balloon as principal after harvest.

She is truly thankful towards the Kiva lenders for allowing her this loan.
