Fiona's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase some more materials such as pandanus for her weaving business.

Fiona's story

Fiona is a 36 year old single mother to her five children. The family lives at her parents' house -- there are eight people living together in the home. Her highest level of education was form five in secondary school. Fiona has managed to raise her five children by herself by running her business of weaving.

Fiona had her loan from South Pacific Business Development (SPBD) as her third loan cycle. She works out of her home, and sells her products at the market to her main customers or some different people at the market. One of the challenges she faces is lack of materials. Fiona overcomes her challenges and run her business actively, just as she has faced the challenges of being a single mother. She has a vision for the future of her business to continue running it so she can be able to save some more money to help her children's education.
