La Bendicion 4 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock her business with flour, rice, beans, oil, juice, sauces, sausages and milk amongst others.

La Bendicion 4 Group's story

Melise lives in the municipality of Juan Dolio in the Dominican Republic, This municipality is known in the country for being a tourist site due to it's beautiful beaches.

Melise is an immigrant Haitian woman who came to the Dominican Republic looking for better living conditions. The difficult poverty conditions that the neighboring country, Haiti, endures forces many of it's citizens to go to other countries looking for better opportunities to grow, as was the case with Melise.

Melise is a young mother who has had a small store for five years. She sells flour, rice, beans, oil, juice, sauces, sausages, and milk amongst others. Thanks to this business she generates the funds needed to help support her family.

Melise's dream is to be able to travel one day and see other countries. She would also like to see her family escape the poverty cycle they live in.

Melise needs your help to buy merchandise to stock her store so she can continue to generate income to provide for her family.

Thank you for contributing to the La Bendicion 4 group.
