Enforcement Green Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more stationary to help her meet the increasing demand.

Enforcement Green Group's story

In Beatrice Township resides an entrepreneur named Patricia. She is a 41-year-old lady married to a teacher. Patricia is blessed with one child.

She has run a well-established stationery business since 2012. In 2018, she joined Thrive Microfinance in order to acquire a business loan.

Patricia formed a group of four members and named it Enforcement Green. However, two group members dropped after repaying the loan.

Despite the economic challenges, Patricia kept enough stock to cushion herself against price hikes. When the prices increased, she adjusted to suit the market conditions and saved money instead of restocking at high prices.

Her fellow competitors suffered as a result of restocking goods with exorbitant prices.

Patricia faced increased demand as local schools and individuals could walk for more than 10 kilometers to buy her products.

Hence, Patricia and her friend applied for their second group loan, from which Patricia used her share to buy more stationary to help her meet the increasing demand.

She hopes to venture into cloth printing in the near future.
