Felipe Santiago's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase wood, nails, varnish, sandpaper, and other materials needed to make furniture.

Felipe Santiago's story

Felipe, 55, is honest, responsible, and very hardworking. He had to emigrate to another country where he worked in construction. He started saving, and through his savings, he bought his first carpentry and joinery machines. He has had his business, achieved with much hard work and dedication, for over four years. His greatest support are his son and a worker who apply the finishes to the furniture. His customers are satisfied because he makes uniquely designed furniture of good quality.

He has decided to apply for a loan with Kiva and MiCrédito to purchase wood, nails, varnish, sandpaper, and other materials he needs to make his furniture. In the future, he plans to purchase a large space and have a showroom to display the furniture he makes. In this way, his customers will be able to see his products much better.
