Total loan: $5,000
Benicia, CA, United States / Retail
Laura's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped increase sales by offering more products and assist with an online presence that support a mission of giving back. $4000 would be used for new inventory, $500 for marketing, and $500 to add an on-line store.
I became a mom at the age of 16 and was forced to leave home. Many times I worked two jobs to make ends meet. At age 18 I landed a job at Farmers Insurance Group as a file clerk, and while working there, I had wonderful mentors who encouraged me to get me a degree, and with that in hand, I was able to climb the corporate ladder. But during my career, I always wanted to own my own business. After working for Corporate America for over 35 years, I have decided to throw caution to the wind and follow my passion and open the Grey Horse Boutique. Opening the Grey Horse Boutique allows me to be creative and the ability procure merchandise that gives back and is inspired by my love of nature, horses, friendship, and family. Grey Horse Boutique is named after my beautiful horse Sombra has been in my life for just over 21 years, and he has gifted to me memories of a lifetime.
