Rael's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to pay for farm inputs and to hire labor to improve her farm yield for profits to ensure her children graduate from school.

Rael's story

Born in 1965, Rael (pictured above) is an enterprising woman who loves her family more than anything. She is an established woman who lives and farms in Eldoret, Kenya, an area endowed with beautifully-flowing natural streams and green vegetation. She practices dairy farming and vegetable production. She sells her produce at her local market to earn a living to support her family.

Due to poverty and adversities that hit her family when she was a child, Rael was forced stop school in the secondary level. She joined her parents and started farming. After she got married, she started her own mixed farm that has supported her family until now.

Rael is seeking a 60,000 KES loan to pay for farm inputs and to hire labor to grow more crops on the farm. It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer to risk limited resources to expand a farm business. With your help, Rael will be able to pay the high cost of farm inputs necessary for expansion. A significant portion of the profits will be ploughed back into the business to fuel growth as she sets a good foundation for her family.

She really hopes for your help and contribution. Rael thanks you in advance.
