A loan helped to buy fish for her food sales business.

Wendy Tatiana's story

Sra. Wendy, 27, is married and has two children, 6-years and 1-year old, respectively. Her husband is a fisherman and the family lives with her mother-in-law in Manta, one of the most important tourist spots on Ecuador's coast and know for its food and beaches.

Wendy is a hard-working woman and wants both an income of her own and a way to help her husband with the family's expenses. She and her husband have a business buying wholesale stocks of fish and delivering them to inland cities for resale. This loan will hugely help them carry on the business.

Wendy will use the loan to buy fish for resale. When we asked her about her hopes for the future, she told us that she wants to buy a house and a vehicle that she would use to deliver the fish she sells.
