Gaster's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy manure for his coffee and banana plantation to boost the harvest.

Gaster's story

Gaster, aged 41, is a married man with five children and lives in the rural settings of Kagadi with his family. He is an agriculturalist, owning both a coffee and banana plantation in his area.

He is so thankful to Kiva for the support received previously, because he managed to apply fertilizers to his banana plantation. The harvest was so pleasing, which earned him money that supported the family.

Gaster has once again applied for a loan of 4,000,000 UGX from UGAFODE to buy manure. He will apply it to his coffee and banana plantations to boost this season's harvest, since a good harvest attracts good market. Gaster is a honest and a man of integrity, and this has created a good relationship with both UGAFODE and his customers

Gaster is optimistic that a good harvest will earn him income that will cover his children's school fees, and he says he greatly appreciates the lenders for enabling him to support his family.
