Filomena's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more Gomesi and dresses to sell in the Easter season.

Filomena's story

Filomena is seeking financial assistance to buy more Gomesi and dresses to sell in this Easter season. She is a single mother of five children. One is enrolled in school, and she lives with three other grandchildren in her household whom she supports. She is carrying one of them in the photo.

Filomena owns a boutique selling traditional clothes called Gomesi for women in her community. She also does crop farming, especially maize and beans, and tailoring to get a supplementary income for her family. For 10 years she has been selling clothes. Filomena hopes to educate all her children and to continue investing in her business to improve her quality of life but is limited by little capital to stock.
