Hilda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy seedlings, fertilizers, watering cans, spray cans, wheel barrows and bush knives for her farming business.

Hilda's story

Hilda is a 46 years old and she is married with three children. They live in a rural community in Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands.

She runs a farming business where she grows vegetables like tomatoes and peppers that she can sell at the market to earn a living for her family. She has been in this business for three years.

Hilda has requested a loan to pay for additional seedlings, fertilizers, watering cans, spray cans, wheel barrows and bush knives to assist her with her farming business.

She plans to use the profits from her sales to meet her family's daily needs and help pay for her children's school fees.

She joined SPBD in 2015 to gain access to financial services for her business.
