Gs Mi Esperanza Union Praga Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy bags of fertilizer, compost and to pay for manual labor to help growing coffee.

Gs Mi Esperanza Union Praga Group's story

Ana is 32 years old. She is a single mother and has one son. She lives with her parents and son in an indigenous community in the municipality of Jesús de Otoro that is adjacent to La Esperanza, Intibuca.

She has been working growing coffee in an area close to her home for seven years. The coffee yield is of good quality and is processed using drying or water methods. She sells her beans by the quintal (= 100 pounds) in the same area.

She wants to invest in her crop and is requesting a third loan for her group to buy bags of fertilizer, compost and to help pay for labor to help growing the coffee.

This loan will allow her to grow a better crop and improve her harvest.

Her goal is to have good coffee production so that she can improve her income and provide her family with a better quality of life.

The group is called GS Mi Esperanza Union Praga and it is made up of three members who are neighbors in the same community and who work in the coffee trade. The loan request is for 28,500 Lempiras.
