Los Primos # 1 Group

La Esperanza, Intibucá Department, Honduras / Agriculture

Los Primos # 1 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase supplies, fertilizers, lime, and chicken manure for planting and to pay labor costs to clear the land.

Los Primos # 1 Group's story

Santos is 41 years old, married, has three children, and lives with his spouse and children in a community of La Esperanza, Intibucá.

For 20 years, he has worked growing potatoes. He sells the harvests he gets in the market in the area. His product is of very good quality. He wants to expand his harvest and invest more in his crops. For this, he is asking for a loan from the institution as a group loan to purchase supplies, fertilizers, lime, and chicken manure for planting and to pay labor costs to clear the land. With this income, he expects to have more earnings.

The group is called Los Primos #1. It is made up of three people who have great experience in this business and live in the same community. The amount of the loan is 30,000 lempiras. They will invest in tending their land better for their crops. In the photo, they are, from left to right, Santos, Maria, and Tiofilo.
