Victoria's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase more rice, pepper, toothpaste, red oil, vegetables, and other items to sell.

Victoria's story

Victoria is 49 years old and living with her partner and six children in Liberia. She never had the opportunity to attend school. All of her children live at home while attending school.

Victoria runs a business which sells dry goods such as rice, pepper, toothpaste, red oil, vegetables, and other items.

Victoria asked for a loan with BRAC Liberia, Kiva's field partner. The loan will be used to purchase more items to sell and expand her business, and to help her family’s financial situation.

She has been selling for 14 years and is very proud of her business. She learned the trade from her mother and started selling with some financial help from her partner.

Victoria is very grateful to BRAC and Kiva for their support. In the future, she would like to continue sending her children to school and to build a house.
