Nino's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to open a store for business to make her own income.

Nino's story

Nino is a 59-year-old woman from Surami, which is one of the famous resorts in the country. She lives with his son, who is temporarily unemployed. Also, Nino has no source of income to maintain the financial stability for the family.

Nino decided to start up her own business and started to seek credit among local financial institutions.

She received the credit in the framework of joint initiative of Kiva and Credo - Startup Program that gives poor people the chance to start or re-start businesses.

She plans to open a store of various consumer goods and start selling on her own among local people and among holiday makers as well.

After the store is opened, the family will have a stable income which will enable them to cover everyday costs, as well as expand the business in the future.

With support of the Start Up program, Nino will get an opportunity to be involved in her own business and tackle the financial difficulties.
