Jahura's story

Jahura is a 31-year-old married woman residing in Nadia district, West Bengal. She is engaged in meat selling. Her husband sells goat meat in the local market. She has a household of three members and a monthly income of INR 7,800.

She wants to start their own butcher shop by purchasing goats from the wholesale market. Therefore, she has applied for a loan of INR 25,000 from Grameen Shakti, one of Milaap's field partners.
