Juan Francisco's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy three weaned calves.

Juan Francisco's story

Juan Francisco is a humble man from the country who is dedicated to his crops and his herd of cows. He learned to work the fields from a young age, so he has over 40 years' experience with planting crops and herding cattle. He is supported by his six children and his wife.

He already knew about Kiva's work with MiCrédito, as he has benefited from a loan from both organisations that let him grow as a farmer, for which he is deeply grateful. His experience was so good that he has decided to request another loan, which he plans to use to buy three weaned calves and grow his herd little by little.

In future, he would like to be able to improve the conditions of his pastures.
