He Muong 02 Group's story

Binh is a minority ethnic woman who is married and a mother of a son and a daughter, one of whom is studying in grade 4 while the other is just 3 months old. She has been living with her husband and children in an old traditional Thai stilt house in a poor remote village. Her family mainly relies on agricultural production to earn a living. They grow rice, cassava, and corn but also raise pigs, chickens, and buffaloes.

Binh is a very har working farmer and has made great efforts to increase her production and improve her family’s income. However, the presence of disease in the chickens made some times very difficult for her.

She recently took out a loan from the Anh Chi Em program to buy fertilizer for her rice field and corn seeds. Binh hopes the rice and corn will bring a good result for her family. She dreams of seeing her family escape poverty soon and have a sufficient life so that her children can have a bright future and they can live in a nice house.
