Uzima Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 35 100kg sacks of flour and to pay for the transport of it, to build up initial resources.

Uzima Group's story

Madame Esperance sells flour and cornflour at the central village market. She is the president of the banque villageoise UZIMA and is a customer of the microfinance institution Hekima. She is married, 45 years old and has 6 children who are all in school. Her initial funds were given to her by her husband, who is an electrician, and Hekima followed. She is going to buy 35 100kg sacks of flour with this loan, transportation included, to build up her initial supply. Her objective is to expand her business to serve more people, and also to pay for her children's schooling and food. She thanks Hekima and its partners, and wishes them prosperity in their mission of financial support granted to the poor.
