Nomussa's story

Nomussa is a 51-year-old Mozambican woman. She lives in Chimoio with her husband and their 6 children.

Nomussa is a very hardworking woman. She works hard in her field producing vegetables such as cucumber, pepper, cabbage, tomato and onion. As a result of this activity, Nomussa has been able to produce a large amount of vegetables and sell to the local markets in her community.

Due to her honesty and good service to her clients, Nomussa has really increased the number of her clients in the heart of Chimoio city. Some restaurants are requesting vegetables from Nomussa farm.

In order to provide better quality vegetables for these clients as well as increase the income to her family, Nomussa is requesting a Kiva loan to buy inputs of quality. She dreams of making this activity more sustainable and as a result, being able to provide better education as well as living conditions to her children.
