Belinha's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy additional stuff, like different colours of yarns and/or warp threads.

Belinha's story

Belinha is modest, hardworking, married, and a mother of three.

Belinha has amazing skill and experiences with East Timor traditional woven cloths called tais, and she makes a living from it. Her weaving shop, which she has been running since 2010, is so well located where it is easy to find, and many people come to buy her weaving every day.

Running the business has made Belinha become independent because she can be responsible for herself and also help support her family's everyday needs.

This is her third loan, and she has been a really good client of KIF. Now she would like another loan of $1,500 through KIF to help improve her weaving shop. She plans to use this loan to buy additional stuff like different colors of yarns and/or warp threads.

Belina hopes to expand the size of her business in the future and wants to thank lenders for the opportunity.
