Sanganai Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in her poultry business by increasing the number of her broiler batches and buying chicks and poultry feed.

Sanganai Group's story

To some, hope happens in the city centres. Many of the economically-active age have been flocking to cities for the dream. For Angeline, a 35-year-old woman, the opposite is true: her dream lies in the village. She gave up the dream of living in the city to pursue her entrepreneurial dream in her rural homestead.

She runs a diversified business which ranges from poultry production of broilers, layers, and free range chicken, to a grinding mill and a tuck-shop business that serve her community's needs.

To achieve this she is in dire need of capital and is applying for a group loan from Thrive Microfinance. She joined hands with one other business-minded lady. They named the group Sanganai. This is their second loan from Thrive Microfinance. They got a combined loan of USD 1,600. With her portion, Angeline will invest in her poultry business by increasing the number of her broiler batches and buying chicks and poultry feed.
