Jean Bosco's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more inventory for his shop.

Jean Bosco's story

Jean Bosco runs a small grocery store in one of Rwanda’s six refugee camps. Jean Bosco, his wife, and their children arrived in Rwanda in 2012 after fleeing violence in their home country of the Congo.

Immediately upon arrival, Jean Bosco took what little money he had and invested it in his business, so that he could support his family with the monthly profits.

Today, Jean Bosco’s business is still operating. He has a strong group of loyal customers, but, because he lacks working capital, he often runs out of stock at the end of the month and is unable to meet the requests of his customers.

With a loan of 300,000 Rwandan francs (RWF), Jean Bosco could increase his inventory and grow his business.
