Alba Luz's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizers and mulch, and to pay laborers to weed and apply inputs.

Alba Luz's story

Alba is 30 years old. She belongs to the Lenca indigenous group. She is a single mother and lives with two children in the municipality of Intibucá, department of Intibucá.

For eight years, she has been growing potatoes and vegetables. She does this work on land near to her house, and she sells her crops to intermediaries in the same zone.

She wants to invest in her cultivation and is requesting a second loan from ODEF in the amount of 11,000.00 Lempiras to buy fertilizers and mulch, and to pay laborers to apply inputs. This will help her to give good care to her crops and to have better harvests. Her goal is to continue investing in her business and to improve her economic stability.
