Marie Solange's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more inventory to have a sufficient stock of goods to sell.

Marie Solange's story

Marie Solange is a 23-year-old mother of three children, all of whom are attending school. She is very committed to the well-being of her family, so she always hopes to improve her family's living standards.

Marie Solange owns a small retail shop selling assorted soft drinks, juice, sugar, potatoes and other basic goods. She has been in this field for the past nine years and has no employees.

She gradually expands her business, but her lack of capital prevents her from reaching her selling targets and threatens the growth of her profits. For that reason, Marie Solange is requesting this loan to buy more inventory to have sufficient stock of goods to sell to increase sales and revenues. She believes that in future her business will flourish.

This is Marie Solange's first loan cycle with Visionfund Rwanda, and she is truly thankful towards the Kiva lenders for allowing her this loan.
