Dora Alicia's story

Dora is 46 years old. She is in a common-law relationship and has three children. She lives with her spouse and her children in the municipality of San Luis, Santa Barbara. She has always worked in agriculture. She has been producing and selling coffee for five years. She operates her business on her own land near her house. She sells the production in dry parchment in the same community.

She wants to invest in her coffee crop and is requesting a loan from ODEF, in the amount of 15,000 HNL, to pay for compost, fertilizers, and labor costs for cleaning her crop and applying the fertilizers. With the investment, she hopes to provide a good treatment to her crop and earn better income. Her goals are to cultivate more parcels of coffee and to improve her financial stability.
