Maria Dolores's story

Maria is a very well-known person in her community. She is separated and she has 4 children who are 9, 14, 25, and 30 years old. She says that she has relatives who live abroad.

Maria makes a living selling tortillas. She also raises poultry and farms. She learned to do these things from her family. At the beginning, it was difficult to develop these activities, but she has been able to gain experience through hard work and dedication and start her own business. She works from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

She needs a loan to buy corn wholesale to stock the inventory of her tortilleria. She hopes that the investment will help her strengthen and maintain her business, and therefore she will also be able to take advantage of the good sales season coming up.

Her goals are to bring in new customers and improve her financial situation to offer her family a better diet.
