A loan helped to repair her mini-truck in order to expand her transportation business.

Rojina's story

Rojina is a 30-year-old married woman from a small village in Murshidabad district, West Bengal. She has a family of three members and a monthly household income of INR 8,500.

She is a housewife and her husband drives a truck. They drive their own mini-truck and provide transportation service to the villagers. They transport vegetables and grains from the village to the market and other goods from the market to the village. The income generated from the business is consumed by the family and there is hardly any money left to spend on servicing/repair of the mini-truck. She wants to repair and service the truck so that the business continues without any unfortunate incidents.

Hence, she has applied for a loan of INR 20,000 from BJS, one of Milaap's field partners. She and her family will be thankful to the lenders for their support.
