Fa Mbaye's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice seeds and fertilizer to grow rice.

Fa Mbaye's Group's story

There are five women in this group. They live in a village with strong social cohesion that led to the creation of their group in January 2019. Their main business activity is rice cultivation.

Mrs. Diago, standing on the far right of the photo, is the group representative. She is 42 years old and married, and the mother of three girls and one boy. Her main business activity is buying rice seeds and fertilizer to grow rice. After the harvest, she will sell the rice to her loyal customers at the market.

With the profits, she will be able to pay for her children's education, provide for her family and put aside savings to make her business more profitable.
