Raziya's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase three dairy cows to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Raziya's story

Raziya is 43 years old and she has a husband, a son, and two daughters. Raziya has a high school education. By nature, she is hard-working and responsible. Since 1997, Raziya has worked in cattle breeding and crop growing as her family's primary source of income. Currently, she owns three cows, 30 sheep, two horses. She also has a 1.11-hectare plot of land on which she grows beans.

Raziya has a supply contract with a local factory for organic milk for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business. She requested a loan from Bai Tushum Bank after learning that she could receive one against the security of a future supply contract as part of the bank's "Value Added Chain" program. She requested a loan of 170,000 som in order to purchase three dairy cows. Her goal is to increase cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Payments from the factory for the milk will be directly deposited into Raziya's bank account, and will then go toward loan payments. Raziya plans to invest proceeds from the loan into further developing her farm. A portion of the proceeds will be put into savings for her son's wedding ceremony.
