Jane's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase high quality farm inputs to increase her tea productivity.

Jane's story

Jane (pictured in her tea farm) is a 43-year-old mother of one child who attends school. She is a determined woman who has only one thought in her mind: to prosper. Jane is a farmer from the Maua area, in the central region, Kenya. She is responsible for all the operations on her farm, which she does perfectly.

Jane makes money by selling produce from her farm. She enjoys plowing her tea farm and watering her plants. Crop diseases pose a big challenge for her, as does poor crop productivity. Initially, she had taken a loan to buy farming inputs, which she successfully paid back.

Jane is seeking a loan to buy good-quality fertilizer, which will help increase soil fertility and productivity on her tea farm. Increased productivity will allow her to improve her quality of life and her standard of living. Through training from Juhudi Kilimo, she has learned about the culture of saving, and she plans to use the increased income to improve her farming.

This loan will go a long way in changing the lives of Jane and her family members. Support this hardworking mom and loan now.
