Lihase Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to use the ACE 1 cook stove to gain access to electricity for extra lighting at night, to save money spent on fuel, and for charging mobile devices.

Lihase Group's story

Mamolemo is a 28-year-old woman married to a 35-year-old hard working construction worker. They both live with their two children and one family member in a 1 bedroom house that has no electricity.

Mamolemo relies on open fire as a means of cooking almost every day. She has to travel 7 kilometres every week to gather firewood, and she also has to pay 500 LSL for its transportation. Mamolemo says she also spends 358 LSL on paraffin and cooking gas every month.

Since there is no electricity in her village, Mamolemo and the two other people in her village say the ACE 1 cookstove is going to help them save a lot of money that they spend on mobile device charging fees and fuel every month.

The ACE 1 clean cookstove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE1 cook stove, please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy.
