Outfit Group's story

Living in the outskirts of Bindura district in Mupandira Village, it has been a challenge to secure a more sustainable source of funding to inject in their businesses. Marry is 42 years of age and married with four children. She is a business-minded woman who runs lucrative businesses. She rears poultry in batches of 100 birds once every 6 weeks, runs horticulture projects and regularly she attends workshops as to enhance her way of operation.

Marry is eager to learn, and this has helped her to move along with the ever changing business environment. She came with her other two friends who are into poultry business and named their group Outfit. From the time she applied for her first loan with her Outfit group mates, she has demonstrated much improvement and a demand for bigger funding needs. The group went further to apply for a second loan and with this, Marry bought 200 birds and 14 bags of feeds.
