Betty's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy various cereals, such as lentils, cowpeas, maize, sorghum, barley, and millet to sell in the local market.

Betty's story

Juhudi Kilimo is celebrating hardworking mothers such as Betty, who resides in the Bomet area of Kenya. Betty, a 27-year-old mom of three children, two of whom are school going, lives in a humble home along with her children. With a joy that is characteristic of her, Betty goes to her mixed farm every day. She has wide experience in farming and has mastered farming activities from growing and harvesting to earning an income from her crops.

She has been doing agriculture for the past few years. She makes money selling products from her farm, including milk and crops. She enjoys plowing her farm and watering her plants.

With this loan, she plans to buy cereals, which she will sell to her neighbors and at the local market. Her village has a high demand for cereals but the supply is low. With the loan, she will be able to meet the demand.

Through training from Juhudi Kilimo, she has learned about the culture of saving, and she plans to use the increased income to improve her cereal business. This loan will go a long way toward changing the lives of Betty and her family. She dreams of giving her children the best education she can. You can support this great mother by lending now.
