Fridah's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy another cow to expand her dairy.

Fridah's story

Fridah is the mother of a school-going child and lives in a typical village in the Nkubu region of Kenya. Most people who live in this area are smallholder farmers who generally suffer from poverty and lack of capital.

Fridah has been practicing mixed farming on a small, inherited piece of land for the past few years. She loves dairy farming the most. She sells milk and different crops for income, but a lack of enough feed for her livestock is still a great challenge.

Fridah believes in the slogan, "Unity is strength," which is just one reason she decided to join Juhudi Kilimo. She discovered that they finance farmers to help obtain important assets for their farms. During her Juhudi Kilimo training, she also learned how to develop a savings culture.

Fridah has applied for a loan to buy another cow to expand her dairy. This loan will be of benefit to her family in that they will have more milk for consumption and sale, and their living standard will improve. Be inspired and lend to this zealous woman!
