A loan helped to purchase farmland to grow vegetables which will bear fruit selling her yield.

Gumercinda's story

Gumercinda is a hard-working woman, 58 years old. After the death of her spouse, she was left to care for their 2 children, still school-aged, and they live in the locality of Tonohaya which is located in Puquina.

She works in the fields, a business she learned from her parents and which she has done since she was very young. Gumercinda was only able to obtain a primary school education because her parents did not have enough money. For this reason, she always works hard to give her children the best so that they become better people.

Currently she grows vegetables and she sells the yield to her neighbors. She asks for the microloan to be able to purchase farmland to grow vegetables which will bear fruit selling her yield.

Gumercinda hopes in the future to improve her family's quality of life and manage for her children to become professionals, achieving all their objectives.
