A loan helped to pay for field work and buy fertilizers and seeds to increase income from harvest of tomatoes and rice.

Nurillahon's story

Nurillahon successfully paid off her loan. She is grateful to Kiva and everyone who helped her with financing. She currently owns six cows, four sheep, and a 1.3-hectare plot of land on which she grows tomatoes and rice.

With the aim of further developing her business, Nurillahon requested a loan in the amount of 150,000 som from Bai Tushum Bank in order to pay for field work and purchase fertilizers and seeds. Her goal is to increase earnings from a good harvest of organic tomatoes and rice. Nurillahon plans to invest proceeds from the loan into increasing her cattle headcount. Part of the proceeds will go to improving her family's well-being.
