Khanh's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase sand, cement, brick and equipment to build a toilet.

Khanh's story

Mrs. Khanh is a 49-year-old widow with two children. Her husband died and all the difficulties of life now lay on her shoulders.

She has worked in agriculture, farming food for more than 10 years. Khanh lives in the Quang Xuong district, a rural town in Thanh Hoa province. Her income is lower than the national average income; moreover, this region often suffers from natural disasters such as floods and drought.

One of the most critical difficulties that concerns her is not having latrine. However, her income is not enough to get a new one. She is requesting a loan to purchase sand, cement, brick and equipment to build a toilet.

In 2013, Khanh joined Thanh Hoa microfinance institution to improve her business. Khanh has successfully repaid three loans from Thanh Hoa microfinance institution.

Khanh hopes for her business to do well, for her family to be healthy and happy, and to build a new house.
