Zhanna's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to pay for plowing and sowing activities and buy cellophane to cover her greenhouse to protect her crops from bad weather and have a prosperous harvest.

Zhanna's story

This shy lady is Zhanna, a hardworking farmer and nurse from Arevshat village. She lives with her husband and two school-aged children. The family owns a truly inspiring farm, where they keep bulls, chickens and turkeys. The most astonishing part is their garden, where they cultivate walnuts, peaches, and Armenia's famous apricots.

Zhanna is also famous in the area for her delicious dried fruits, which she makes from her agri-products. With her husband's help, she trades the dried fruits and other goods at the local market, and this is the family's main source of income. Aside from that, Zhanna is a caring nurse at a local hospital.

Since a farm needs constant care, Zhanna has applied for financial support. With this loan, she plans to pay for plowing and sowing activities and purchase cellophane to cover her greenhouse to protect her crops from bad weather. All this will be done to assure a prosperous harvest and therefore increase her sales of agri-products. Zhanna is sure that this investment and her hard work will help the family reach its desired outcomes and give her kids a proper education.
