Waad is the featured borrower of a group loan, Baneen 1 Group, which consists of three women who are working hard to cover the expenses of their families.

She is acquiring a loan from Kiva’s field partner Al Majmoua along with Shahdeya and Mariam to increase her merchandise by buying the spring collection of clothes for the coming season to attract more customers.

Shahdeya is the lady on the right-side of the picture, Mariam is the lady in the middle and Waad is the lady on the left side.

Waad is a 26-year-old Syrian refugee mother of one child who is running her home-based business in clothing retail to help her husband in maintaining the basic needs of their only child and other living expenses.

Waad wishes to develop her business and remain able to buy new collection for all the seasons which will maintain her enough income.
