Gladys Amparo's story

Gladys is 48 years old and lives in the municipality of San Luis. She’s a divorced woman who has 2 children that are the love of her life. After her divorce she was scared, she didn’t have a job and she didn’t know what she would do to provide for her family, especially in her town that is in post-conflict so there are not many opportunities. Three years ago she started working raising chickens and selling their eggs, a business that has made her very proud and now she can give a good life to her family. She dreams of being successful and seeing her family happy and safe. She’s asking for a loan to buy 50 chickens to increase her egg production so she can sell more.
