Miyassarkan's story

Miyassarkan is 60 years old, married, and has two sons and two daughters. Miyassarkan has a secondary technical education. She is very hardworking by nature. Since 1978 she has been engaged in animal husbandry and crop agriculture for her family's main source of income. Thanks to her persistent hard work and her son's help with the farm, today Miyassarkan's farm has a cow, 20 sheep, and 0.46 hectares of irrigated land on which she cultivates watermelons.

With the goal of further developing her farm, she has applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 60,000 som (KGS) in order to purchase cows for increasing her income from fattening and reselling livestock. She intends to invest the funds from the loan in the further development of the farm, and use part of the income to build her son a house.
