Martha Ramona's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy chickens, feed, water jugs, makeup, and other items.

Martha Ramona's story

The city of Portoviejo was affected by the earthquake of April 16th, 2016. The city is rich in production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for domestic consumption.

Martha is 54 years old and in a common-law relationship. She has two children, one who is older and independent, and one who is 15 years old and in secondary school. Her husband is a bricklayer.

Martha makes a living selling Avon products (beauty products, cosmetics, perfume, and accessories for women), water jugs, and cheese by the pound; and raises chickens in a pen. She sells from home and on foot in the area. She has spent more than eight years in this work.

With this new loan she will buy chickens, feed, water jugs, makeup, and other items. Her dream is to have a larger business and to continue with good health.
