Haby's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy six 100kg bags of peanuts, vegetables, and other condiments.

Haby's Group's story

This nine-member group belongs to a banc villageois that was set up in January 2002. It is composed of women who have gained good experience in the program. Their activity is small business, and a good atmosphere animates the meetings of the group.

Haby (standing on the far right with one hand raised) is the representative of the group. She is a 52-year-old widow with seven children. She works in the processing and sale of peanut paste and also the sale of vegetables.

With her new loan, she plans to buy six 100kg bags of peanuts, which she turns into a paste. She also buys vegetables and other condiments to sell at home. With the profits, she plans to take care of her children.
