Enid's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to pay school fees for her daughter's first term.

Enid's story

Enid is married and mother of six children. She is involved in cocoa farming, in addition to selling rice on a retail basis at her food stall. She is need of a Kiva loan to pay school fees for her daughter, who is in secondary school.

Cocoa growing is a major economic activity that has helped many families develop in Bundibugyo, Uganda, including Enid's. She has managed to care for her children with proceeds from her businesses. Her main problem is the price fluctuation of the cocoa, affecting her profit margin. Unfortunately, income from rice sales is equally inadequate.

Enid used the previous loan for paying school fees for her child and was pleased, thus deciding to ask for a second loan.
